Subject: amd to mount smbfs shares?

Can I use amd to automount via smbfs shares from Windows NT/98 boxes?
I can mount them now simply enough with `mount', as I have appropriate
entries in /etc/fstab and /usr/local/etc/nsmb.conf, but I like the
idea of automatic mounts and dismounts based on access. This is a
FreeBSD 4.3 box.

I'm also not sure where to find an explanation of how to define
appropriate amd maps, assuming the default /etc/amd.map is not enough.

Thanks much.
