>Description:
just installed 2.2.5, my machine has old 3com etherlinkII nwork card.
setting on card: i/o base 300, memory base c8000 however no jumper for irq.
checked with s/ware it uses irq 5.

installation went ok (think so), not detect any nwork card. when reboot after
complete installation i got this message:

ed0 not found at 0x280

fatal trap 12 : page fault while in level mode
fault virtual address = 0xefc00000
fault core = supervisor read, page not present

processor eflags = interrupt enabled, resume, IOPL = 0

interrupt mask = net tty bio
panic page fault
Auto reboot in 15 seconds - press a key on the console to abort
>How-To-Repeat:
it goes on and on with the card installed and gone if i remove the nwork card.
didn't test with other because can't afford to have a newer one [i'm a poor student - any donation for good working nwork card :) ]
