download the staroffice program from sun.com and
put it in /usr/ports/distfiles

then get the port from ftp://ftp.hagenhomes.com/pub/so51a.port.tar
and untar it wherever u want. run the make file
and follow the directions.

oh i forgot to mention the file is about 71 megs 
so a fast connection is needed, mine took 2 whole minutes!

its alot nicer than 3.1 and i hope more stable.
