This is a multi-part message in MIME format. --Boundary_(ID_OX8xajzqsJ8m4ZYPHaBlLQ) Content-type: text/plain; charset=iso-8859-1 Content-transfer-encoding: 7BIT Hello Dirk, I encountered a rather critical issue.... I installed mod_php4-4.2.1_1 after cvsupping: file: stable-supfile *default host=cvsup3.nl.FreeBSD.org *default base=/usr *default prefix=/usr *default release=cvs tag=RELENG_4_6 *default delete use-rel-suffix *default compress ports-all tag=. So I installed php4. But php produced some weird errors... After searching I found that the php version installed was a bugged one !! http://bugs.php.net/bug.php?id=16626 && http://bugs.php.net/bug.php?id=16803 So I did a make deinstall, and a make clean. After that I removed the files from /usr/ports/distfiles/ assuming that they might be old. And I restarted my cvsup-script (cvsup -g -L 2 /etc/stable-supfile) after that I installed the module again. (make -DWITH_APACHE2 install) but this made no difference. -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- some more information: ls /usr/ports/www/mod_php4/files/ -rw-r--r-- 1 root wheel 354 Dec 19 2001 patch-Makefile.in -rw-r--r-- 1 root wheel 340 Oct 16 2001 patch-aa -rw-r--r-- 1 root wheel 441 Apr 9 10:25 patch-ext_domxml_config.m4 -rw-r--r-- 1 root wheel 557 Dec 3 2001 patch-ext_mcal_config.m4 -rw-r--r-- 1 root wheel 770 Apr 28 10:14 patch-ext_sybase_ct_config.m4 -rw-r--r-- 1 root wheel 354 Jun 21 23:52 patch-sapi_apache2filter_php_functions.c more distinfo MD5 (php-4.2.1.tar.bz2) = 7435d86b9267fe5f048046caf1a6158b pkg_info XFree86-libraries-4.2.0_2 XFree86-4 include/(shared) library kit apache-2.0.39_6 Version 2 of the extremely popular Apache http server autoconf-2.53 Automatically configure source code on many Un*x platforms autoconf213-2.13.000227_2 Automatically configure source code on many Un*x platforms cvsup-without-gui-16.1f General network file distribution system optimized for CVS expat-1.95.3 XML 1.0 parser written in C freetype2-2.1.2 A free and portable TrueType font rendering engine gd-2.0.1_3 A graphics library for fast creation of images gmake-3.79.1_2 GNU version of 'make' utility imake-4.2.0_1 Imake and other utilities from XFree86 jpeg-6b_1 IJG's jpeg compression utilities libmcrypt-2.5.1 Multi-cipher cryptographic library (used in PHP3) libtool-1.3.4_4 Generic shared library support script linux_base-6.1_1 The base set of packages needed in Linux mode m4-1.4_1 GNU's m4 mod_php4-4.2.1_2 PHP4 module for Apache mysql-client-3.23.51 Multithreaded SQL database (client) p5-DBI-1.28 The perl5 Database Interface.
