 Had a similar problem with a HP Proliant ML 110 and a broadcom BCM5705K

 Modify if_bge.c   and if_bgereg.h

 In the dev directory under the src release.

 Introduce a new vendor id

         { BCOM_VENDORID, BCOM_DEVICEID_BCM5705K,
                 "Broadcom BCM5705K Gigabit Ethernet" },

 In my case for the ML 110 in if_bge.c

 And

 #define BCOM_DEVICEID_BCM5705K          0x1654   in if_bgereg.h

 Run a pciconf to get the correct chip rev/mem address being mapped to.
