Synopsis: mmap fails on large file on CDROM State-Changed-From-To: open-closed State-Changed-By: fenner State-Changed-When: Tue Jun 24 16:52:02 PDT 1997 State-Changed-Why: It looks like it's actually the medium or the drive; the CD-ROM drive isn't capable of seeking randomly to the end of the file but is capable of seeking there sequentially.
