So now I know I have the not unknown problem of my 1542A corrupting data at 0x2001,0x3001,0x4001 etc.

Is there anything to do about it, short of getting another controller?

Is it possible to do read-after-write-verify and retry?
Or to write in smaller blocks, if that would help?
