We're seriously thinking about following up on the recent developers@ discussion about time zones by converting all of the cluster machines over to GMT. The main CVS repository machine shifting has definite benefits because many things (e.g. Security Advisories) reference CVS commit times. I'm fairly sure that at least some visible stuff in GNATS (freefall) would be picked on later if we don't just punt and do the whole cluster now. So far nobody is objecting. If you have any serious reservations about this let me know please. I'll wait a couple of days, if nobody has said anything by early next week I'll probably shift over repoman at that point, and let developers@ know about it. The rest of the cluster would probably shift a week later. Thanks. -- Ken Smith - From there to here, from here to | kensmith@cse.buffalo.edu there, funny things are everywhere. | - Theodore Geisel |
