Howdy -

I've noticed in my daily email from Charlie Root the following error:

login failures:
/var/log/messages.0*.gz

Why, who, how, and what for does this happen? Where would I start
looking to fix it? FBSD 4.0-RELEASE

And now, its time, for some useless, bandwidth wasting words of wisdom:
Bill Gates does Windows...
