Hi,
I found this message on an old mailbox. Isite is a new server for the
Z90.50 (WAIS but better) protocol. Information is available at
http://cnidr.org
regards,
Pedro.

If anyone is using FreeBSD, I have compiled and am using the
Isite-1.01, Isearch-1.05 pkg successfully on a 90MHz Pentium
computer. The only changes I made to the Makefile were as
follows:

# FreeBSD
CFLAGS=3D-g -DLOW_TO_HIGH -Dfar -DUNIX -DZSERVER_DEBUG -DSAPI_DEBUG -02

I hade no compiler errors or problems. You will have to use the GNU=20
make v3.74 otherwise you WILL get make errors with the make that came=20
with FreeBSD. All the Isite tests worked fine, even creating an index of=
=20
HTML's and searching on them
