https://bugs.freebsd.org/bugzilla/show_bug.cgi?id=3D242147 Bug ID: 242147 Summary: multimedia/ffmpeg: Illegal instruction on i586 Product: Ports & Packages Version: Latest Hardware: i386 OS: Any Status: New Severity: Affects Only Me Priority: --- Component: Individual Port(s) Assignee: multimedia@FreeBSD.org Reporter: jose1711@gmail.com Assignee: multimedia@FreeBSD.org Flags: maintainer-feedback?(multimedia@FreeBSD.org) ffmpeg is crashing on my slightly less common i586-based system (https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Vortex86). $ ffmpeg Illegal instruction Coredump is generated. The cure was recompiling ffmpeg from ports with Open= CV disabled. Until a proper fix is found I wish OpenCV is disabled in binary package as it takes several hours to compile ffmpeg and all its dependencies though. freebsd-version =3D 12.1-RELEASE-p1 --=20 You are receiving this mail because: You are the assignee for the bug.=
