  Hi,

I am trying to set up rarpd. I read the man pages, and I'm having a bit of
trouble. In the man pages it says

Additionally, a request is honored only if the server
(i.e., the host that rarpd is running on) can "boot" the
target; that is, if the directory /tftpboot/ipaddr exists,
where ipaddr is the target IP address in hexadecimal.

This getts me, I dont understand why you need to have a /tftpboot/<ipaddr>
what is it for? It makes no sence to me. If I do need to have one, then
what do I put in it? Does it just sit there?

The address of the machine that will be requesting is 192.168.40.1 so should
I have a directory

       /tftpboot/C0.A8.28.0b

It just sounds weird to me, if someone could explain why and if that is
correct. I have it setup this way and all I see when I tcpdump on my ethernet
device is

23:10:57.603562 rarp who-is obi-wan.swars tell obi-wan.swars
23:10:58.103465 rarp who-is obi-wan.swars tell obi-wan.swars
23:10:58.603445 rarp who-is obi-wan.swars tell obi-wan.swars
23:10:59.103349 rarp who-is obi-wan.swars tell obi-wan.swars
23:10:59.603326 rarp who-is obi-wan.swars tell obi-wan.swars
23:11:00.103228 rarp who-is obi-wan.swars tell obi-wan.swars
23:11:00.603206 rarp who-is obi-wan.swars tell obi-wan.swars
23:11:02.103014 rarp who-is obi-wan.swars tell obi-wan.swars

This looks to me like rarpd is not doing anything.

BTW obi-wan is the client and the machine I'm running rarpd is yoda. ;)
