The instructions on the install guide worked for me, at least in 2.2.5: mount /cdrom (but only as root!) for my Toshiba on an adaptec 2940U I think this is aliased to something else in /etc/fstab, so you can look there for the exact syntax that it is using. > > Hi, > > I have a relatively new installtion of freeBSD on an new intel box.
