I have recently begun to see the following message posted repetitively in my /var/log/messages file: Nov 25 23:45:35 tetron02 popper[98540]: (v2.53) Unable to get canonical name of client, err = 0 Nov 25 23:57:57 tetron02 popper[98566]: (v2.53) Unable to get canonical name of client, err = 0 bash-2.03$ I searched qualcomm's site without any success. Does anyone know why popper is complaining about a client's canonical name? All of my clients are on an internal 10.0.0.0/8 network, using DHCP to assign ip addresses; the DNS server supports ddns. Everything appears to be working correctly, I just don't know how to get rid of this annoying log entry.
