Thanks Kris.

The box was a new install and the users had quotas before, although I have
not enabled quotas on the box as of yet. I usually install ipfw in case
we start getting DOS attacks, and we reject about 60k email a day mostly
from the RIPE and APNIC networks. When one of these machines was new and
running 4.10 it suddenly disappeared from the network one day. We found
we had to disable a DOS attack feature in the BIOS for the nics. After
that it ran quite nicely for around 2 years before the next reboot. ;-)
