Yes, same as www/firefox the www/chromium has TWO possible AUDIO backends, =
ALSA
and pulseaudio, sound works ok with ALSA, pulseaudio is not needed.

I also filled a BUG for www/firefox that also 'suddenly' has pulseaudio ena=
bled
