As a matter of fact both of my BSD slices were created with partition magic. Simply reduce your existing DOS partition size with the partition magic program and start the install, BSD will see the empty space and you will be able to create your slice(s). ********************************************* If you must choose between 2 evils..... ..... pick the one you've never tried before ********************************************* On Fri, 27 Mar 1998, J Getz/J Richards wrote: > Date: Fri, 27 Mar 1998 23:00:29 -0800 > From: J Getz/J Richards <jimjanet@voicenet.com> > To: freebsd-questions@freebsd.org > Subject: Partion Magic & FreeBSD > > Hi > Does anyone have any knowledge of FreeBSD being installed on a slice > created with Partition Magic?? > Jim > > > To Unsubscribe: send mail to majordomo@FreeBSD.org > with "unsubscribe freebsd-questions" in the body of the message > To Unsubscribe: send mail to majordomo@FreeBSD.org with "unsubscribe freebsd-questions" in the body of the message
