  hostname=3D"BaseOS-FreeBSD120CURR-ia32e"   Works!
  hostname=3D"BaseOS-FreeBSD12-CURR-ia32eX"  Breaks!

The earlier attempts had been using an algorithmically generated 32-char
hostname.
