1) Why does ssh omit that 'starters space' of /etc/motd when logging in as oposed to a terminal login? 2) Sometimes date displays the time as `Wed Apr 10 14:43:16 CEST 2002' while sometimes it displays it as `Wed Apr 10 14:43:16 CEST 2002' -- notice that extra unnessecary space that appears.
