Attempting to confirm.

Using FreeBSD 11.0-STABLE #0 r316340 system.
Built src/lib/msun with /etc/make.conf containing CPUTYPE=3Dsandybridge

clang -v
FreeBSD clang version 3.8.0 (tags/RELEASE_380/final 262564) (based on LLVM
3.8.0)

objdump -dSRC libm.so.5 indicates lots of legacy fpu instructions like
fmuls instead of mulss as well as usage of the %st() registers
