We are running a custom webserver application along with squid on a couple of Dell PowerEdge dual processor boxes. They ran fine for weeks with 2GB of RAM but once we increased it to 3GB of RAM we continually get kernel panics... Does anyone know if there is a problem with FreeBSD, 3GB of RAM, and the motherboard on the Dell PowerEdge servers? Is there a workaround?
