This would leave the question whether we should enable it on the
install floppy or not.  I'd say not, to prevent people from running
into a chicken-and-egg problem, but i realize that it won't be tested
very extensively then.  Many people seem to run the GENERIC kernel now
that we've got UserConfig and dset(8). :-/

I could try to see if i can come up with some better fdisk (or
replacement tool), but i don't make any promises.
