What motherboard/drive controller are you using? I've got a couple of picky Asus P5A's that don't work quite right. They accept some drives at UDMA/33 but not others. I installed a promise UltraATA/66 card in one of them and have gotten wonderful service since. j. -- Close your eyes. Now forget what you see.
