	This is basically the concept of MacOS X.  Early indications are 
that Apple has a good chance to actually be able to deliver on this 
promise, but after nineteen years of seeing them screw up time after 
time, I'm taking a "wait-and-see" attitude.


	However, this statement of yours conflicts rather completely with 
your earlier statement that you "...don't really see the need for a 
desktop."  Could you clarify?
