The point being made is that if you're interested in high performance,
you're not going to be using a 486 based server. You'll spend the extra
money and buy a faster CPU. That does not mean FreeBSD won't support 486
based machines. What's the point in improving performance by a miniscule
amount for an already slow CPU? It's a waste of developer time, IMHO.
