Most feeds I have dealt with, THEY feed you the articles and then you use
innxmit to send out new articles only....

You can "pull" articles down from your upstream if they permit it however
it's a very ineffecient way to do it...

As long as you have their news server in your config to permit them to feed
you and the fact that they will feed you, things should be fine... then
setup innxmit in a cron job for every 15 minutes for whatever...

I haven't setup an INN news server in a couple of years but that's how I
remember it...:)

Also, you will need an up to date newsfeed file which you should be able to
obtain from them...

Let me know if I can help any more..

Take care,

Paul Stewart

I've been trying to get ISC INN setup over the past few days to get a news
server setup with little success. We have an upstream feeder which we would
like to connect to. Anyone setup INN before on this list care to give me a
hand? I've got the server up and running locally fine, but I just can't get
it to get articles from the upstream site or to post to the upstream site.
