Hello,

Do you have

  jabberd_enable=3D"YES"

in /etc/rc.conf?

If you are sure that's a bug, the porter of net-im/jabberd is
mm@freebsd.org:

  http://www.freebsd.org/cgi/ports.cgi?query=3Djabberd-2.1.12

In general, please read

  http://www.freebsd.org/doc/en_US.ISO8859-1/articles/problem-reports/

and send-pr(1) manpage.
