I think the mfsidl is an mfs mount as I have defined in /etc/fstab:

/dev/ad0s1b    none  swap   sw                    0 0
/dev/ad0s1b    /tmp  mfs    rw,async,nosuid,nodev 0 0

Indeed, the top manpage needs updating. I'll try to email the responsible person
for that.
