My expiriences with ahc cards on alpha were ugly.
I don't know what to expect from non ahc based adaptec cards.

Yes and no.
A non busdma driver must be aware of alpha to work.
Otherwise a busdma driver is required only for large memory situations,

Does anyone know if Miatas can be fit with >1G?
