If I recall correctly, not 10 minutes ago we just answered this for
you on the #FreeBSD IRC channel.  In case you didn't hear us the first
time, the answers are: YES, YES, a decent 386, YES, YES.

Had you bothered to read ANYTHING at all on the FreeBSD website, most
of your questions would have already been answered.
