Hi; This might sound absurd, but I did 'sockstat' and I saw that named was listed some 80 times: root named 134 4 udp *.1735 *.* root named 134 6 tcp root named 134 7 tcp root named 134 8 tcp root named 134 9 tcp . . . root named 134 81 tcp root named 129 4 udp *.514 *.* Why are there so many entries for named when only a couple of sockets are opened? did't see this before.
