I've been trying to use portupgrade recently, but keep getting the following error regardless of what I do: # pkgdb -F Checking the origin of . .: Not in due form: <name>-<version> # For example, with recent announcement about security fix for ethereal, I try:# portupgrade ethereal-0.8.10 <snip> .......3000.........4000.........5000.........6000.... ..... done] ** The following packages were not installed or upgraded (*:skipped / !:failed) ! (ethereal-0.8.10) (.: Not in due form: <name>-<version>) I've tried: # pkg_info -a ...didn't see an entry named `.' I've tried renaming pkgdb.db and then rebuilding a new one with: # pkgdb -u ...also tried `pkgdb -f' but just get returned to prompt. I've tried rebuilding the ports INDEX and INDEX.db files with: # portsdb -Uu I've tried emptying /usr/ports and then cvsup'ing ports-all. I even tried removing /usr/ports altogether and then used /stand/sysinstall to put a fresh copy back in place. Any Ideas?
