cuaa3 == sio3, cuaa4 would be sio4, but the default kernel only
has sio{0,1,2,3}.
Post the output from dmesg, your /etc/ppp/ppp.conf (don't forget
to remove your password!!!) and anything in /var/log/ppp.log (for
a single dial attempt only, it can get very large).
