I managed to get it installed anyway. I just changed the 2.1.7-RELEASE 
tag to NONE under options and as soon as I told it where to look it took 
off like a shot and did a complete install. Now I'm reading up on cvsup 
and I'm going to attempt to upgrade to a 2.2.x version sometime in the 
near future.
