Hello Lars, OK then the reason is probably that the W810 plays strange with the usb subsystem and for some reason. Unfortunately I cannot help you more; you may try to compile your kernel with options USB_DEBUG and see if it gives more information (and/or boot using boot -v) and then post the info to the freebsd-usb mailing list.
