In message <Pine.BSF.4.10.9911080951250.38503-100000@hub.freebsd.org> Kris Kennaway writes: : This is cryptographic code (no, it doesn't include any directly, but it is : code which links explicitly with a crypto library, so it counts) and : shouldn't be exported from the US (e.g. from your webpage on freebsd.org) : unless you want to get in trouble with the feds. Crypto export from freefall is legal, per walnut creek's lawyer's interpretation of the 9th district court rulings in the Bernstein case. At least from the 9th district. Things are somewhat muddy still, mostly because the government keeps trying to make it muddy.
