About two years ago I worked for someone who had _many_ of Dells running
FreeBSD. None of them were specifically your model, but we definately had
SMP boxes going just fine (I think the models were mainly in the 2000,
4000 and 6000 series).

Yeah, ours were Intel EtherExpresses IIRC...

Yes, but we had problems with the Dell RAID controllers. These have now
been rectified I believe.
