Interesting statement, Polytropon. I have been using FreeBSD since version 5 and MS Windows long before that (stated with DOS). In both cases, I have found both architectures perfectly capable of extreme debauchery. Are you familiar with bug # 237666 <https://bugs.freebsd.org/bugzilla/show_bug.cgi?id=3D237666>. I have known versions of Microsoft that would not install on older PC's that lacked the capabilities that it required; but never to refuse to install on a newer machine. On a perfectly operating 11.x machine, I could not, and apparently not just me either, install an 12.x version of FreeBSD. Problems exist everywhere. It takes personal prejudices to highlight them.
