On 2001-04-25, Sheldon Hearn scribbled:

# Right now, {ftp,usw1,usw4}.freebsd.org are jam-packed and refusing
# anonymous logins. Can anyone suggest reliable mirrors?

ftp.uk.freebsd.org was really quick yesterday (downloaded
4.3-install.iso at around 60KByte/second, peaked at around 80-85KByte
second, from a server in Seattle).

Don't know if it has been brought to it's knees or not :)
