using the comand:

rcad003# strings /usr/local/share/chromium/chrome | grep /usr/
/usr/share/applications
/usr/local/share/applications
#!/usr/bin/env xdg-open
/usr/lib/browser-plugins
/usr/lib/mozilla/plugins
/usr/lib/firefox/plugins
/usr/lib64/browser-plugins
/usr/lib64/mozilla/plugins
/usr/lib64/firefox/plugins
/usr/lib/xulrunner-addons/plugins
/usr/lib64/xulrunner-addons/plugins
/usr/tmp
/usr/lib/nss
/usr/local/share
/usr/share
/usr/share/zoneinfo/
/usr/local/share/:/usr/share/
rcad003#

this directory /usr/lib/browser-plugins doesn't existe in freebsd, but
/usr/local/lib/browser-plugins exist...

Why not to change /usr/lib to /usr/local/lib in FreeBSD?
