I was upgrading from last Frebuary's SNAP to lst weeks SNAP. I retrieved the ssys* files, untarred them, and copied my old config into the new space, then : (scheme:59:/usr/src/sys/i386/conf)/usr/sbin/config SCHEME Removing old directory ../../compile/SCHEME: Done. Kernel build directory is ../../compile/SCHEME (scheme:60:/usr/src/sys/i386/conf)cd ../../compile/SCHEME/ (scheme:63:/usr/src/sys/compile/SCHEME)make depend [snip all the mkdep stuff] (scheme:64:/usr/src/sys/compile/SCHEME)make cc -c -x assembler-with-cpp -DLOCORE -nostdinc -I- -I. -I../.. -I../../../include -DFDSEEKWAIT=16 -DNSWAPDEV=20 -DMSDOSFS -DNFS -DFFS -DTCP_COMPAT_42 -DINET -DMD5 -DCOMPAT_43 -DFAILSAFE -DKERNEL -include opt_global.h ../../i386/i386/locore.s ../../i386/i386/locore.s: Assembler messages: ../../i386/i386/locore.s:144: Error: Unknown pseudo-op: `.p2align' *** Error code 1 does anybody have any ideas ?
