[snip Greg's flame] Leave that idiotic crap on Slashdot, where it belongs. This is a help list. [snip Linux vs. FreeBSD] As a Linux fan -- *and* a BSD fan -- I pray to all: please stop the petty bickering. BSD has its strengths (the license, the centralized development model) and its weaknesses (the license, the centralized development model). Linux also has strengths (the license, the de-centralized development model) and weaknesses (the license, the de-centralized development model). Beyond that, they're pretty much the same (i.e., free, relatively frill-free and zippy implementations of Unix).
