It used to be one Class A, one Class B and one Class C. Use of which terminology got me into verbal fist feights with a certain sysop. We're now supposed to use x/y terminology. Anyway, the point is that the x/24 has been upgraded to x/16. There no longer is a Class C martian space. At least, as I remember things. Which sometimes is good and sometimes is way off. Check ICANN if one needs the veritable truth. They're the ones doling out these ranges.
