Excellent point. Perhaps we should modify the first paragraph of bsdtar.1 to read: DESCRIPTION tar creates and manipulates streaming archive files. This implementation can extract from tar, pax, cpio, zip, jar, ar, and ISO 9660 CD-ROM images and can create tar, pax, cpio, ar, and shar archives. Maybe add an example as well: To examine the contents of an ISO 9660 CD-ROM image: tar -tf image.iso Thoughts? Tim Kientzle
