Hello Mr. TooMany,

the portupgrade suite is what you probably want to use.
You can set BATCH=3DYES or use the --batch switch which suppresses the
OPTIONS menu.
e.g.: portupgrade --batch -a to upgrade all ports or
portinstall --batch sysutils/screen
