If you are not going to be playing a lot of 3D games, then definitely go with AMD.. They make excellent CPU's that perform as well as (and sometimes better then) Intel on business apps. And they will cost you significantly less. I don't play many games, and I use AMD almost exclusively. Mike. Mark L.
