Hi, Somebody make changes to my disk (I have a copy of the partition layout, but I can't remember if the slice was created in compatibility mode or not). So I don't remember where that slice starts. Coud you help me to save some informations? Currently if I mount /dev/ad2s1c I am able to see the former root partition and I can't acces other partitions (incorrect superblock message). The old layout is: a: 262144 0 4.2BSD 1024 8192 16 # (Cyl. 0 -32*) b: 131072 262144 swap # (Cyl. 32*-48*) c: 7539777 0 unused 0 0 # (Cyl. 0 -934*) e: 1024000 393216 4.2BSD 1024 8192 16 # (Cyl. 48*-175*) f: 6122561 1417216 4.2BSD 0 0 0 # (Cyl. 175*-934*) with badsect as flag! It was a 3.3-FreeBSD system. Now the HDD is moved onto a 4.1-RELEASE as secondary master. Best regards, Gheorghe Ardelean.
