All this was set up on Gigabyte GA-P35-S3 motherboard, based on Intel P35 chipset. But I cannot bring up nor 6.1-RELEASE from DVD, nor 6.2-STABLE, moved by dump/restore on HDD at another box (under Intel 865 chipset). When I try to boot 6.2-STABLE. there are two bugs: 1. My Genius Optical Value+ wireless combobox (keyboard + mouse) does not detected 2. SATA Controller detects as JMicron SATA 300 and strange detects my HDD and DVD-RW's (two Optiarc 7170 devices) as UDMA33 :-D and works this way - very, very slow... I suspect this is not Gigabyte-specific problem, but chipset support problem. Sorry for marking PR critical:high, but for me it is really critical - I have lost Internet connection at home (I do not connect to Internet from Windows at usual reasons :-) ) >How-To-Repeat: Try to install FreeBSD 6.2 on box with Intel P35-based motherboard >Fix: >Release-Note: >Audit-Trail: >Unformatted:
