Hi all,

Anybody ever had a problem with the cursor in emacs
(v20.2) obscuring the character which it is over? I
have the following in my .Xdefaults file.

steve[~]$ grep emacs .Xdefaults
emacs*Background: DarkBlue
emacs*Foreground: LightGray
emacs*pointerColor: Gray50
emacs*cursorColor: Yellow
steve[~]$

With this I only see a yellow rectangle where the
cursor is instead of a light gray character with a
yellow background. Changing the cursorColor doesn't
help either. It worked a couple of days ago. Since
then I have upgraded to XFree86 v3.3.1 and started
using XF86_I128 instead of Xig's Xaccel which dies
with an error about not being able to set the fonts
directories. I know this is where the problem lies,
but I just don't have the where-with-all to fix it.

Please reply directly to me to save bandwidth on the
list.

TIA, Steve
