Subject: keyboard trouble? no ctrl-c

I'm running FreeBSD 4.7-RELEASE. My keyboard is USB. When the boot
process reaches the 'hit enter to continue' stage, nothing happens when
I hit enter, it is just a matter of waiting the 5 seconds. Another
symptom of trouble is that control-c does not work. For example, if
running 'ping', control-c will not stop the process. I'm having to
login on another terminal and kill the process.

Any ideas? Are these related?

Thanks,
Gary Schenk
